A new contract has been signed and kicked off with a TAS-E led consortium including G4AI (UK), TRAD (F), INTA (E), DHC (B), ONERA (F), Artenum (F) and TAS France (F).
The activity will analyse problems with respect to energetic electron penetration and interactions in spacecraft and their payloads in high flux environments, including the relationships with pre-flight testing and design margins, improve usability and physics modelling of simulation tools, validate the developments (also through dedicated testing campaigns) and perform benchmarking and analyses to identify systematic deviations between simulation tools and engineering analysis processes performed as part of radiation hardness assurance and EMC assurance.
