lstar_phi1 - convert between L* to \(\phi\)¶
- subroutine lstar_phi1(ntime, whichinv, options, year, day, lstar, phi)¶
- Parameters:
ntime [integer4,in] :: number of locations
whichinv [integer4,in] :: 0 - L* to \(\phi\); 1 - \(\phi\) to L*
options (5) [integer4,in] :: control options for calculation
year (ntime) [integer4,in] :: years for locations
doy (ntime) [integer4,in] :: day of year for locations
lstar (ntime) [real8,in/out] :: Roederer Lstar [Earth radii]
phi (ntime) [real8,in/out] :: \(2\pi B_0/L^*\) [nT Re2]
Description¶
Converts either L* to \(\phi\) or from \(\phi\) to L*.
