ul225 - evaluate invariant radius and latitude

subroutine  ul225(fbm, flm, nfbm, frd, fla, ifail)

Parameters:

• fbm (nfbm) [real8,in] :: Magnetic field intensity at the mirror point.

• flm (nfbm) [real8,in] :: McIlwain’s shell parameter

• nfbm [integer4,in] :: Number of values

• frd (nfbm) [real8,out] :: Invariant radius

• fla (nfbm) [real8,out] :: Invariant latitude (lambda)

• ifail [integer4,out] :: error flag (see Diagnostics)

Description

The subroutine ul225() computes magnetic invariant radius and latitude from the magnetic coordinates Bm and L.

History

• The subroutine is not included in version 2.02 and earlier.
